That would lower the cost and give us a reason to salvage vs sell and the dust will set at 20s like ectos that doesnt seem too much, though rares will maybe increase to 35-40s. Or the other way around, ectos and dust at 10s each and rares at the same price. Maybe an average of the two.

Sounds a good idea to me and dust won’t feel unreachable like i’m feeling now.

Why rares specifically? There’s already a demand for them. There’s far less demand for uncommons and masterworks.

OR, they could just take a lesson from themselves(GW1) and let some of the Weapon-Drops we get way too many of also, salvage into every tier of Dust…

Also: does anyone know what the AVERAGE outcome of 250 Incandescent —> Crystaline is supposed to produce?? B/c if it’s anything below 33, then we’re getting totally screwed here by the Forge… (same goes for Luminous, I got 50 Incandescent from it yesterday and just wanted to punch someone)

It’s very much under 33, my past experience plus some experiments today indicate it seems to be in the 10-30 range

Yesterday, for science, I bought a truckload of heavy bags of each type (moldy, miner, supply etc). The usual suspects only dropped about 1 t6 dust in 80 bags. Used to be higher, no?

Getting 10 Dust in 20 attempts is not uncommon and already cutting even. Now you have the rest of the t6 mats too…

People don’t seem to realise that the “mystic clover” recipe is actually a net profit if you do it for the T6 mats – a way of converting your spare skillpoints and karma into gold effectively. Under those circumstances, the mystic clovers actually represent a failure rather than a success as you can’t sell them

Yes, unluckily for me I always need my skillpoints for the next 200sp bloodstone shard.

It’s a potential profit, but no way is it guaranteed. It is far more likely to get T6 Wood/Ore/Cloth then it is to get the T6 mats or lodestones.

I did 10 conversions using the 10x recipe and ended up just about breaking even after selling. But for me it was a win since I was working on clovers for my next legendary (got 50).

Of course at the time ectos were about 10s higher, so I think that it would be more likely to pull in a profit now.

If you have a ton of karma it is potentially a good way to turn it into money, though I think the karma bags in Orr are a better option and then use whatever shards you get in the clover recipe to finish it off.
