Can someone please just check to make sure the “coupons” are in the chests?

I just opened right around 120 and have yet to get one coupon -.-…

On a side note a Name Change scroll dropped.

I opened about 50 chests and nothing. :-/

A random guy opened 35 and got already 2. Grr.

Opened 50 Nothing, best thing I got was a Hair style kit (temp), and 5 transmutation crystals. YES!

Really just stop buying keys…that’s the only way anything will ever change.

I just hope those tokens will available through other ways.

Friend in game opened 200$ worth and not a single coupon as well…

This happens EVERY time when they add new items to the Black Lion Chest.

People rush to buy Keys….open a TON of chests…..then complain that they didn’t get their new shiny.

RNG isn’t bad if there’s an alternative method to obtaining them. Like the TP. Precursors are a great example. RNG ensures rarity of said item, and prices on TP reflects said rarity.

From what I understand though, these items are account-bound. Which means RNG is SOLELY the method of obtaining them. Which is silly. I’m willing to pay top dollars for certainty, Anet, come onnnn.

well anet will smile, still dont see why people spend such huge amounts on such stuff after the previous rng fails halloween/xmas and so on

for 200$ u could get tons stuff of the gemstore without any rng and of course for 200$ u could buy plenty games of subscription fee for….w/e

They put the xmas skins on the gem store last time they introduced new skins, I don’t understand why this had to be rng. And not like there’s an occasion/celebration or something. Put something definite, a fixed price, and people will have a goal to work towards. Leave it to uncertainty, and you risk the loss of interest from your players. Anyways, we’ll see how goes.

Account bound eh? Now you guys know how I feel about endless mystery tonics… they have a drop rate of 1/1000 in black lion chests and are account bound. Utterly ridiculous. Harder to get them than legendaries.

People, if you keep buying all those keys, they will keep putting things you want in the boxes. If you stop buying the keys, they’ll get the message. Don’t buy the keys!

Opening about 35 boxes for a Ticket, I got one of those but it wasn’t something i wanted : / and i blew about 50…60 Gold already? Yes I’m dumb for trying and hoping to get a ticket :/

Account bound LOL looks like anet worked out a lot of people, like me dont buy the chests during “special” events just wait for things to flood the TP and pick up what you want for a few silver. Now the skins are black lion toilet only

I tossed enough gold down the mystic tiolet in hope of a precourser no way i am going to waste money on a miniscule chance to get a skin from a box.

After going through all of those chests before I came on here and saw this thread, and after that major disappointment, all I can bring myself to do is sad face…

Actually I’d be willing to buy the skins if I could just do it outright. Waste money on the gamble? No way.

How are people opening hundreds of chests?

I purchased around 30 BLC keys, opened the chests… and got nothing but some pathetic boosters I’ll never use, BL axes I’ll never use, 9 mystery tonics I WILL use someday… but no weapon skin. why Arenanet? why? I feel cheated.

If you are going to advertise these awesome weapon skins people can get, next time could you atleast make the drop rate be known? And words of advise.

IF you are going to have cool skins in BL chests, and sell the keys with REAL money. Please make the drop rate a 1/10 chance next time. Or you’ll lose the respect of your playerbase. It makes us feel like you cheated us

That’s up to $400 worth of keys if you bought each one.

I have some sweet land in the arctic that you might be interested in buying.

Some people have a lot of gold and convert a bit everyday into gems. No need to spend big bucks. Also there was a sale over the weekend on keys.

While I agree with the sentiment, they did say “rare” which is ArenaNet for “we’re ripping you off again” when talking about the chests.

Bought 5 keys, got ticket on the second chest I opened. It’s a random chance, any percentage given can only serve as an extremely general idea of how likely you are to get it. If you throw a dice with two stars on it you could still throw it a million times and never have it land with a star face up, that’s how chance works.
