Hi there,

I bought the game recently and im only playing pvp.

Because of the pvp daily i am able to get some money through laurels. I tried sending some money (1 GOLD!) to a friend but apparently it doesnt work because my account is new?!

What exactly are the requirements to be allowed to send 1 measly Gold to someone? / How long do i have to wait / Is it played time dependend / Do i need to lvl? WTF?

You’ll have to play the game and get achievements in order to be allowed to send more.
Unfortunately I do not know how that works exactly.

Your account has to be at least 30 days old to send unlimited money. Before 30 days you can only send the max amount you earned by playing pve/wvw can be sent. If you play pvp only its obviously zero.

If you have a guild bank and the necessary permissions, you should be able to trade the gold using it. Worth a try.

There is a 1-week “cooldown” period for access to a guild bank for new guild members iirc.

Really? I guess that’s to stop gold sellers also.

When you get the new account message while trying to mail an item or items you get the same message when trying to put into the guild bank. Overall transfer limits for mail and guild banks are linked.
