It is possible know if the “character slot expansion” will be on sale soon? and what will be its price?

I am very confident it will be on sale some time in the future.

Also usually the sales are 20% off. I think slots have been on sale … twice? since launch.

I suspect it will be in the New Year, to snag players who got GW2 for Christmas.

I’ll buy 10 slots as soon as they go on sale again.

Just like buying the bank tabs on sale.

I would of bought on-sale bank tabs… if I hadn’t already maxed out my bank long before they went on sale! I wish we could do returns / price matching.

If I recall correctly, character slots have been on sale three times since launch, twice at half-off (400 gems) and once at 25% off (600 gems).

My impression is that the slots went on sale when the gold→gem conversion ratio started to dip, but that could have been coincidental (there are plenty of other troughs in the game’s history and many of them were not followed by special gem shop offers of any sort).

My guess is that toon-slots will go on sale once maybe twice in 2014 and probably at 600 gems.
