Anet why is it not a chainsaw?

It’s not terribad. I’d prefer if the tree did something other than just… tamely fall over… though. Idk, explode or sizzle or something.

I kinda expected either

1. Chainsaw
OR
2. Chopping down the whole tree in one swing.

A faster harvesting animation like the sickle will be nice.

Most people will buy it for the animations and neat fx. Who cares about cost effective.

And yeah..the tree should blow up in a storm of splinters after the swing instead of just falling over. That’d be swell.

That would be awesome yet impractical, considering it’s rather hard to make functional armor/weapons/things out of splinters and a stump.

Then again, it’s probably hard to gather ore that’s been melted by a mini-volcano, and I doubt the plants you gather would be in appealing shape after you’d played Teeless Golf with them.
