I bought 3 collection expanders thinking I could move around stacks of 1000 items.

Nope.

The items only stack past 250 when they’re inside your collection.

Yes, I get that it’s called “collection” expander, and not “stack” expander, but still, a note to that effect would be nice. If I have 3000 of an item, the 1000-stack collection doesn’t help because I still have 8 stacks of 250 that I have to make room for.

Surely the hint was in the name? I don’t understand how this is a bit misleading?

Nothing misleading about it… It does exactly what its meant to… Expands the capacity of your Collections hence the name Collection Expander.

It’s a collection expander. How is it misleading? Do you want them to call it, “collection expander, that will only expand collection tab located below your back tab, which is reserved for your collection, which is different from STACK”?
