So I was gleaming over the TP and I don’t craft a lot, nor do I seek a Legendary.
Anyway, I stumbled across Mystic Cores and looked at the other Cores from there.

What is the reason Glacial Cores are like 5s and Charged Cores 1.5g? Is this some huge market manipulating scheme or are certain cores more useful than others somehow (somehow sound very weird to me).

Hi, you must be new here. Start looking over the recipes of the legendaries over at the wiki. Look over the mystic forge recipes too. It should become apparent pretty easily why some are worth more than others.

Almost no recipes require glacial cores/lodestones. A lot of recipes for exotic and legendary weapons require 100-350 Charged Lodestones, making those far more expensive.
