Come on Anet, we wait every day patiently hoping for something we really want to go on sale, and you put A CRAFTING BOOSTER? Its the most useless booster if you already have all your crafting done which many people do. I know some people could use it but why just A crafting booster that most people don’t need.

Why not put all boosters on sale at the same time? I have over 400 crafting boosters doing me no good. I’d love to be able to get some Karma boosters. Especially since you removed them from the black lion chests.

Maybe even put in a booster exchange merchant so we can get the boosters we want and at the same time get rid of the boosters that we no longer need/want. Make it have a cost like 2 boosters to get 1 or cost like 10 silver each exchange…something??

I know this post will go unanswered by Anet and will probably be flamed but I cant be the only one that feels like this.

I agree, but I suppose it’s nice for people who have 0 crafting for whatever reason and want a quick way to get higher in it.

Ok, I now need to know how “Crafting Booster??? Really Anet?” is against the code of conduct? I just read the code of conduct and nothing in there shows what I made the topic to be in violation of it. What am I am not understanding?

also, please implement before deleting all glory boosters – are they even going to be deleted, or just made non-useful?
for me, basically every booster except for karma is [almost] wasted space

I’m thinking a Mystic Forge Recipe… maybe just improve the current one?
currently:
1 exp booster + 1 karma booster + 1 magic find booster + 1 leather bag = 1 booster multipack (which gives you 1 exp booster + 1 karma booster + 1 magic find booster = the exact same boosters you put into it)
just change this to be:
1 any booster + 1 any booster + 1 any booster + 1 leather bag = 1 booster multipack (which gives you 3 random boosters)

Last thing we need is more 4/1 ratio conversion. How about actually using the boosters as a crafting component if you are already maxed.

Lets throw in here repair canisters too.

1) Ascended armour is released

Reaction: people still fill forums with complaints about how hard it is to make

2) Suddenly there’s a free crafting booster available, then another one on sale and then the event yesterday suddenly awards you with materials needed in ascended crafting (dragonite ore, obsidian shards and even a lesser vision crystal). And linen was even added to the drops two weeks ago

I’m guessing this stuff doesn’t just come by chance, or even if it does, it’s just people not noticing the whole picture

OP you do realize that there is a gathering booster that makes you faster at running and a swim booster that makes you swim faster. Crafting booster has nothing on that

lol i noticed the swim booster the other day for the first time. I’m still really puzzled about it. I would love to know how many people have actually bought one of them.

The crafting booster is one of the better ones when considering alt leveling but i do agree that maybe a booster wide sale would of been nicer. Though we can’t always get what we want…

What’s the big deal?? if you think it’s useless, don’t buy it. You don’t represent every gw2 player. What if I want to leveling an alt via crafting and have 0 crafting booster? What about new players that enjoy crafting aspect of the game and want to also gain levels from doing so. Man some people complain about everything.

The main point was not about who does or does not need it really. You will note that I put in my OP “I know some people could use it but why just A crafting booster that most people don’t need.” It just would be nice to put all boosters on sale to give everyone the choice of what they wanted/needed. The point was asking why would you just put a single booster on sale, and that booster being one that not too many people would actually need unless they are fairly new to the game.

I know opening black lion chests keeps giving me crafting boosters I just have no use for anymore. It would be nice to be able to trade those in for something I can use instead of taking up bank space. I use every other booster except that one plus the recent update to the black lion chest removed the most useful one. I would like to be able to get rid of these crafting boosters that I technically paid for and get the much needed Karma Booster or just be able to get some from the gem store with a sale price. I just could not understand why a single booster was put on sale.

I knew I would never get an answer but I wanted to really see if this bothered anyone else. I also knew there would people who have to point out that I am just another complainer. I just would like to know why have a sell like that. If they want to have people spend more gems, put more than just one thing on sale at a time that has a category like boosters. Am I wrong in this thinking?
