Sorry, when I did a search today that post was not there yet (the one asking about this specific thing) and the OP was clearly not about this. Btw it’s still unanswered…
“Person A puts 2 Copper Ores for 20c each. There’s 2 Copper Ores for 20c on TP.
Person B puts 10 Copper Ores for 20c each. There’s 12 Copper Ores for 20c on TP.
Person A puts another 5 Copper Ores for 20c each. There’s 17 Copper Ores for 20c on TP.
We assume nothing sells in meantime.
After 5 mins someone puts an order for 14 Copper Ores for 20c each. He gets 2 ores from person A + 10 from person B and then another 2 from person A.
After the transcaction there’s 3 Copper Ores for 20c on TP that belong to person A.”
Quoting myself from the thread I gave link earlier.
Sure that would make sense if the UI wouldn’t mess with the posted times… So it may be a UI bug… or not. Did you test this personally, so eventually we should file the bug report.
If you put at item at 6pm on monday, log out, it will sell at 11pm, you will log in at 10am next day, it will still show you “seconds ago”. It’s bugged, but it doesn’t really matter if you know how TP works – and I’ve answered already how it does.
Do you know for sure that that is, in fact, how it works? It shouldn’t be difficult to test with fast-moving items like copper or iron ore, but have you actually done such tests?
I’ve spent at least 40hours on TP since launch – so yes, I’m sure.
