• Has about 5 notes you can press, recording function, and preset loops as well as random loops you can play.
• Pretty fun toy even for the musically challenged.

I’m a Ranger, we already have these pets, though ours do things and are helpful in combat and can actually keep up with us while we are running. :P

now its almost as good as mortar

The minis are nice (my ranger can now have two ravens) but the drum … omg that drum is so worth it!

- 5 distinct sounds (two muted, two sharp, and a rim hit)
- 2 recordable loops that stay recorded as long as you don’t zone. Even if you drop the drum and pick it up again.
- a toggle to 5 preset jam rhythms plus 2 “solos” you can tap as you feel like it during the loop. If you toggle back, your own recorded sounds are still available.
- you can RUN. WHILE PLAYING. Get the beat going and run and jump along with rhythm! I didn’t test emoting while playing, I imagine that will stop the beat.
- Excellent animations. Even my facial expression got a serene concentration to it.

The drum is easily the best item ever offered on the gemstore. Thank you ANet for the awesome design of this item!

I don’t like the drums. They’re not like the harp or flute at all. With only 5 notes instead of 21 like on the other instruments I feel more like an observer than I’m actually playing the drum. I guess its easy for people that don’t want to bother to learn how to play the instruments in-game I guess.

I opened a ticket and asked for a refund on my gems, let’s hope I get them back.

The minis are too small!

Anyone have the mini’s on a Ranger with the equivalent ranger pet equipped?
I am very very tempted to get them because I have a Raven for a main pet on my Ranger- I already have another Ranger with a snow leopard pet and mini and I love the effect
