Anyone knows when the character slot sale runs out? Is it today?

There’s no counter. But usually these sales were on a daily basis.

No, lately these sales have been either weekend, week long, two week long sales that either start on a Tuesday or a Friday. March daily sales was an exception.

At the time I posted there wasn’t any word about the 10 day anniversary sale yet, just the character slot went on sale at 3am my time.

Ok, the new sets have been put up, and the character slot is still on sale. Dye pack and Bank Express are on sale now, together with the Character Slot and XP Booster.

New are the various harvesting sickles (Jack-in-the-Box, Thrasher and Consortium)

Edit: after reading the short in the guild wars login screen, it says “we’ll be introducing”. In my book that means it’ll be added to an existing list…

There’s several patterns for “sales.” 24-hour, a few days, or even a few weeks. There’s no way to know unless ANet says at the start.

In the case of character slots, it’s through the weekend (maybe through Monday IIRC). In the case of sickles, I don’t remember them giving an end date.

Regardless, Behellagh’s statement is always relevant: when there’s less than 24 hours, the gem shop will show a countdown timer. (They’ve also had countdowns starting at 48 or 72 hrs, but I don’t think that’s been consistent.)

(Note to any ANet staffers reading this far: please start announcing end-dates for each sale and include that detail in the gem shop description or at least, be consistent about starting the countdown as soon as the item is offered. This will prevent a ton of confusion and any number of posts. Thanks.)
