I have two things I would like to talk about; the post patch dye drop rate, and the items given from the mystic forge.

In the past, I have rarely gotten more than one or two dye drops a day (playing 14+ hours) but last night I got 4 in less than 30 minutes. Now I did have the guild MF bonus on, but I don’t think that helps with anything but rares. Did they buff the drop rate, or am I just getting lucky? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

And on the mystic forge; every green I’ve put in there (upwards of 40) has yielded a rare. Were the odds of increasing rarity raised or something? Or does this have to do with the level of the items I use?

MF affects drops of all rarities. Human faulty pattern recognition affects even more drops . Play long enough and its basically inevitable you’ll have a streak that catches your eye.

A mix of four 70s green, and a set of four 80s greens have very different yellow return rates in my experience. Maybe you were just flushing better loot?
