With Dye Packs on sale I looked at current prices.

640 Gems would get about 38 gold 67 silver
That would buy about 125 un-id Dye.

If you have gold the comparison is even worse.
about 55 gold to get 640 gems. or buy about 177 un-id Dye

Dye Pack 7 dye, 5 guaranteed to be common. The other two maybe rare, mostly Uncommon from what I can learn in research.

If the Dye Pack has the same pool of dyes as an Un-Identified Dye from the TP, why would anyone, under any circumstance, get one?

If they do have a chance at Exclusive Colors it ought to be noted in the Gem Store description, and the Wiki updated.

And you dont make any profit in any way, while converting gold to gems to buy anything on the gem store in order to sell it on the tp.

Maybe the March sale will include exclusive dye kits. I would not be surprised in the least if this is done; in fact, it would make sense. Those dyes are similar to Kasmeer’s staf, Rox’s bow and quiver, or any other limited item from this season.

I actually would be surprised, as they were very recently on sale.

you can make a profit if you got abyss dye from it like i did XD

Not really concerned with profit, just trying to understand if this item has any rational purpose in the current market. Even with exclusive dyes being in the mix it would be a bad bargain, and without them it is a screaming NO.

Now the sale is over. At full price Dye Pack goes from an insanely bad deal to a words fail bad deal. Really ought to be removed from the game for now, as every one sold is a horrible disservice to the purchaser.

What is your rationale for thinking this? What difference does it make to you whether someone wants to buy dye packs or not?
