“New drops of Endless Mystery Tonics can be traded until they are used once.”

Can I ask why people who now get these as drops can sell them on the TP, yet the people who had them before the patch, cannot? Even if you have not used your tonic after the patch, it still remains Acount Bound, and you are unable to sell it?

Because many people already have these tonics and want to sell them. The market would be flooded with them. I myself have 2 of the beast tonics (dat RNG) and am looking to buy the tree one when the price stabilizes.

How do you know if someone has not used the tonic? Are you just assuming?

I find it hard to believe that any player who was lucky enough to get one before this update never bothered to try it out.

I’m not sure how much the market would get flooded, I thought these were quite rare drops previously?
I meant, that in the past, when some account bound items were changed to tradable on a patch drop, they also changed your item to tradeable until you used it again. Instead, these remain account bound still.

It sucks, because I have all 3. And I don’t use them, because why would I?

I don’t get enjoyment out of tonics.

I assume it is similar to the situation with the wintersday weapons from last year if you purchased them before they were a black lion ticket item they are account bound even if never used. (I have two sitting in my bank with no plans to ever use them)

A lot of people had the same problem with Fused skins.

I have been waiting for this day for so long. Thank you Anet for hearing my numerous pleas! Although even I am not foolish enough to buy one on the first day at such bloated prices.

I hope the tree one becomes available soon (none in stock atm) and I hope it comes down to a reasonable price, I love that tonic :-D

It is quite bullkitten that we are not able to sell our old ones, the reason I kept it so long was in the hopes that one day we would be able to sell them, and now this kitten happens..

Check out what the other tonics are going for, and base it off that. Last time I checked, one was going For 400g. So I’d say there or less (maybe more, people like that one). A really hefty chunk of change though.

For the past cases where this happened, like fused skins or endless halloween tonics, you could open a support ticket and they would send you a new one after asking you (and confirming) that you deleted the original. If I were someone with one, I’d absolutely attempt that.
