I loved that the Halloween mini-pets could be purchased, and was extremely disappointed that The Lost Shores mini-pets did not offer this same opportunity. I’m happy to buy guarantees, but do not but in to chance (as was seen with the Consortium Chests). Please make all future mini-pets purchasable as they were for Halloween.

I also would have rather purchased them from the gem store. They can be bought with in game gold, if you have that kind of gold lying around, though. People are selling them so if you can afford them, go for it. I have a hard time earning gold in this game, so if they don’t all get bought up by the time I can get one, I might end up with one eventually.

Another question would be: Wasn’t it announced that there would be a minimal chance that these miniatures would drop in the world over the weekend?
Have you heard from people that got their mini that way?

With the occuring bug (obviously it has to be a bug) that loot got worse after the patch, I am wondering if there is anyone out there who just found the mini ingame from an enemy…

They can make even more money if the put them in a RNG chest that costs half the price of the Halloween mini pack and has a kitten rate of dropping them.

yip one dropped for a guy on our map during the final event. was pretty funny everyone flamed him coz at this point we hated the karka so much! though probably just jealousy

Soooo, convert your gems into gold and buy them on the TP. Technically, what’s the difference? The event minipets are rare, while the Halloween ones are not, so there is a big price difference. I’d imagine that if ANET put rare minipets directly in the gem store, the gem cost would also be significantly higher.

So is your real complaint the fact that these pets are rare, and thus cost too much?

I can’t help but to think the gambling is projecting them more money since they continue to use this model. It would seem odd to me that they would intentionally not produce themselves revenue.

Maybe they should throw one up and see how the money is before just RNG’ing everything again?

That said, the people handling this are pretty savvy; I doubt they would be doing something that would produce less revenue on purpose. There is a reason for everything , the reason for this is that, in all likelihood RNG projected more profit than direct purchase items.
