Exotic Soldiers Gear
i think the pvp gear is soldiers
I’m looking for something I can wear in pve. I know this can drop because I got a drop of it last night from FotM. You can buy the blues and greens from the trading post, but none of the others are listed. I’m curious why.
And no I don’t have “only show available” turned on. They don’t show up at all.

Theres a set from AC, HotW, Orr Karma, and WvW. That’s it.
The Karma armor in Orr is available in soldiers stats (except the helm) and also in some dungeons.
If you get it in Orr, be careful, each temple vendor sells a flavor with a different rune, but the stats vary by piece – so if you want it consistent, you need to visit a few different temples.
Not sure about trinkets, but most people then go knights / berzerkers
Thanks for the help in locating it. I’m still confused why the trinket slot dropped last night and it’s soulbound on acquire. I’m happy I got it, but…
There are some exotic and rare level pieces with Soldier gear stats in the game, although as they cannot be obtained by crafting, they do not have actually have the prefix in their name. But they DO have the stats.
There are armor sets with Soldier’s Gear available as rewards from the Ascalonian Catacombs, Sorrow’s Embrace, and Honor of the Waves dungeons.
You’ll have to visit multiple temples to get a full set of identical stat gear, but there are Karma vendors on Orr that appear after some dynamic events are completed. I can’t emphasize this enough – if you’re looking for a complete set of gear, you’ll need to visit multiple temples for it.
Finally, when Syn said “PvP armor,” he meant the Invader prefix sets that are available as rewards from WvWvW, which does use PvE skills/traits/gear in a PvP setting. (He didn’t mean sPvP.) Invader Armor can be used in both PvE and WvWvW.
