So I keep seeing all these posts about people wanted to know what is the fastest way to make gold/hour. Out of all the responses that are suggested the most obvious one is not suggested, so here it is.

Find a way to make $10 in R/L. During the summer this is the best time, find a neighbor that wants their lawn mowed, or garden weeded or some other physical labor job. Anyone with a well paying job would be more than willing to give up $10 to not have to do one of these jobs, I have paid many times to not have to go out in the sun and mow the lawn.

You can then take this $10 and convert it at the going rate of ~70 gold. This will be the fastest way to make gold/hour spent.

Or just do what I do, take 1 hour worth of pay every other week and convert it to gems -> gold. I never have to farm, never have to worry about gold in game. Better yet any item on the gem shop that I feel I want I just purchase with gems. This may not be the case for everyone, but for me to not have to farm for 10 hours of my game time in order to make the gold that I get for spending 1 hour r/l time is amazing. I can then enjoy my game time doing anything I please and never worry about gold at all.

Just throwing the advice out there incase people are hesitant over spending r/l money on gems – > gold. If you value your time spent this will be the best way to gain gold/hour.

And here I thought afk farming Gold Blitz Pyro, while tp flipping at the same time, while farming gauntlet chances inbetween rounds was the best gold per hour ;[

The precursor grind isn’t so horrible. You should be able to get it from 20 hours of flipping burgers.

Just image how long it would take you to earn all of that in game? Really any ‘grind’ is not bad when you think of the cost in r/l money.

I think that the people who ask for the best gold/h either find exchanging RL cash for gold to be beneath them or don’t have access to decently paying jobs (remember, there’s a whole world outside of USA/W.Europe).

Earning your bling in game to me would seem to make it that much more enjoyable or rather carrying around a Legendary you bought with RL cash would seem pretty lame. Of course if your filthy rich you could buy all the shinies you wanted, but would it really be that fun?

On the flip side I cannot see someone playing Guild Wars if they cant afford $10 to spend on gems once and a while. How do they pay for the computer or the power or internet bill for that matter?

Personally I buy the occasional item in the store with cash, but I have never converted gems to gold or gold to gems for that matter.
