Hello, I bought the Fine Transmutation Stones so i can transfer my Krytan Armor Skin to my new COF armor set. I inserted the two items and picked the stats i wanted but my item transmutation button stays grayed out. Any help please?

Are the items still equipped?

Did you make sure to select the rune (below the stats) as well? That got me once.

Yes, i had the armor off, selected all the correct windows and it was medium armor. Furthermore, i just discovered i cant transmute anything. I tried transmute various medium armor and nothing works for me, the item transmutation button stays grayed out.

there must be something youre doing wrong.. can you post a screenshot of the window and everything selected? that would help immensely

Is that the cash shop armor?

I don’t think you need to use the transmutation stones for those the first time, that might be why.

What the poster above me said. The first time you use a costume skin you don’t need transmutation stones, just double-click on the skin and it will open a window similar to the transmutation one, into which you can drag the piece you want to get the stats from.

This is a copy and paste response I have used for others with this issue.

Just making sure you have done this thoroughly.
1. Make sure you have unequipped the item you want to transmute over. Click on the stone which then brings up the transmutation box.
2. Moved both pieces over into the box.
3. Chose the skin you want (it’s the top selection)
4. Chose the stats you want (it’s the middle selection)
5 Chose the upgrade you want meaning gem or rune (it’s the bottom selection)
6. Then pressed the button.
People often miss #5 so the button won’t work.
