I have a thing about keeping my characters to certain themes, I really would like a flamed theme set of harvesting tools for my thief, that has duel incins, he is all about fire. I already have the molten pick which suits my theme but I need something to burn down trees and burn crops, please make it happen, I would buy them in an instant, thankyou.

I use legendary daggers incinerators, everything I kill burns, that’s my access…

Every class has access to burning through a couple of rune sets. Then he could be a charr thief and use his racial elite charrzooka to inflict burning. You can also steal lava rocks from destroyers and throw them for 5k burning damage over 15 seconds.

In wvw you can create various fire fields with siege weapons, run to it and leap/whirl/fire projectiles into it to gain additional access to burning.

Just sayin…

Incinerator comes with (Fire) as part of the damage stats, enemies killed with it die with a flame animation.
From wiki: Attacks cause a cosmetic burst of flame on the target, Enemies killed by Incinerator will display burning death animations.

Bolt has similar effects but lightning, and frostfang with ice.

No….the daggers fool you into thinking you are burning them….no burning is ever applied. (sorry if i ruined the illusion for you).

It goes right with the theme, because the harvesting tools really don’t apply any burning either.

Sorry, the notion of using “flames” to gather logs, herbs and vegetables just doesn’t compute.

All I can imagine is this.

Come on, a lightning strike is not that much better to harvest logs or a giant jack in a box squishing the greenery.
