Hi, I just bought a flamekissed light armor. When I previewed it, the color were perfect, exactly what I wanted, but after applying the style, the colors are totally different. Any ways I can get the same colors that I saw on the preview? Do I have to randomly try dyes?

I am no expert but I have played around with the previews a bit. I have found that the previews use the same colors as the character you are using to do the previews…sounds confusing but I am very tired right now and can’t think of another way to explain it. Find the dyes you used when previewing and play with the different positions…you should be able to come very close if not the same.

Its because I previewed the flamekissed armor when I was naked but the color of the preview would change if I had my armor on. But thanks to the wiki and comparing various dyes with both previews, I nailed down 4 dyes that looks to be matching. Thank you anyways for your help and time.

Try running the dye remover over the set. Common armor tends to just have a matte color when you do this, but Flamekissed (and likely the other gem store armor skins) has defaults that I believe are the ones you would have seen in preview. This, of course, depends on a character’s lack of armor resulting in not having a dye set applied.

This is easy to see with some of the town clothes (dunno how the 4-15 patch might change this) where, for example, the Asura female set has Abyss as a default in some positions.
