How long do instances like this from ANet usually take?

Maybe we should get you to design and implement the replacement.

Not sure if a compliment or a way of saying how hard designing an armor set is.

They said there was no time frame for it, and left the impression it could be months, not weeks, depending on art resources.

It’s been two weeks now. Can we get some feedback at least? I feel a little betrayed having bought gems specifically for this armor, having it removed, and then having it as well as the community be left completely ignored! I mean it’s one thing to just remove it and quite another to just then ignore it completely. I mean there must have been some kind of thought behind making it like this in first place. When you’re then caught in your attempt to get money out of an easy change and sneakily try to fix it at least give the community the satisfaction of getting semi-frequent infos on it and not just ignoring the fact that it ever existed!

I’d like an update too…

Even if they just gave us a new estimated date to go by, SOMETHING!? I also bought gems for this set, because it was PERFECT for my fire ele with her incinerator and soon to be second incinerator, and now it’s just a race against the clock to get the second one finished because it would have looked amazing..sigh

The original was based on the T3 human cultural armor, which meant that non-human races basically had access to human cultural armor. So they removed it temporarily, but didn’t take it away from those who had already purchased it. However, when they introduce the new one, those who have it now will find theirs changed to the new version. I believe they said people could ask for refunds at that point since the armor will change.
