Used Black Lion Salvage Kit on 40 level 80 exotics returned 37 Dark Matter.

Used Mystic Salvage Kit on 38 level 80 exotics returned 18 Dark Matter.

You can get anywhere from 0-3 per salvage.

they don’t interfere with ecto rates either so far as i can tell. 20 salved(tp down) and i got 17 ecto and 31 dark matter from those

only lvl 80 exoticss? had 3 exo drops below lvl 80 76-79 salvaged them with the rare one and got none

Looks like Mystic Kits return a lot less dark matter. More data is needed though. My samples are too low to be accurate.

Good thing I’ve been saving my BLSK’s purely for use on Exotics!

If it matters, I’ve salvaged all my greens with the basic one and got tons of luck. No more nagging do you want to salvage this worthless green messages anymore. I would recommend blsk for exotics regardless of whether you want dark matter.

Mystic Kits are returning less than half the rate of Black Lion Kits. Getting Dark Matter is going to be expensive whether you craft the exotics yourself or buy the Black Lion Kits.

15 Exotics salvaged, 21 globs of dark matter. I used Black Lion Kits

Black Lion- 38 exo for 61 dark matter.

179 Exotics with BLSK = 186 Dark Matter

you guys all salvaged lvl 80 exotics or lower lvl as well?

Mine were all level 80.

15 exotics, 10 80 5 75 exotics , 0 dark matter so far using black lion salvage kit.

ummm …so far the ONLY dark matters I’ve gotten, are from a BL kit…
And I don’t have the RL money to buy 10 more of those kits to get the DM’s I’ll need from the 200+ exotics I’ll need to salvage for however many Ascended’s I’ll have every other crafting material for ready to go on (not today some time later this year & next).

….And the other issue is: the Daily rewards seems to have changed also… giving a single “who cares!!!” essence of luck instead of random BL item we used to sometimes get…. (so where am I to get BL kits from Now???)

You can still get the gemstore item along with the rest. I’ve gotten a couple of them since the initial Luck patch. One was a BL Kit, so they definitely haven’t removed them from the RNG list (yet).

The EoL is separate. I got the TP express from a Daily with the EoL.
