Hello all. I was trying to buy Gems in the Gem Store this morning and the system would not let me.

The error message I received was :
Error “Parse”
Type: “Ordermodel: error”

I looked about on various sites to see if there was a planned downtime to get the Gemstore ready for a heavy rush, or even if others were having the same problem as I.

I saw nothing, so I went back in game tried again. Same thing. Waited a bit, lowered the amount of Gems I wanted, and tried yet again. The third time I tried I could no longer poke confirm when I could before.

What does this mean? Will I be able to purchase Gems later on today? Will I have to go out and buy a Gem card?

I have never had a problem like this before.

Lisa-Very puzzled and wants Gems for new hair styles.

Update: And now I cannot access the Trading post at all. When I try, I get a blank Trading Post screen with a golden rotating circle…..I have a bad feeling about my chances of trying out the new hair styles today

Same thing for me too, already made a support ticket.
Think I just lost a sell for Quip too =(

1. Reset modem/router
2. Restart game
3. Login different toon
4. Turned off firewall
5. Sent SS w/support ticket
6. Ran Game advisor, sent in zip

Edit: TP works now for me, but still unable to buy gems.

Update: Patch didn’t fix issue 10/1/13 10:15pst

Ranger sword auto root bug: In game since launch. No word from Anet.

Gem store bug: Responded to and fixed in a day.

Priorities.

Still getting this error. Tried multiple times.

Same issue here not able to redeem gem card redemption codes states that it is has been suspended 1420ET

As am I. I’m glad it’s being worked on. I’m pretty sure ANet isn’t happy that people can’t buy gems

It came up in the last hour. I can’t be more specific because it was during the Teq prep time and then I dc’d right after putting in a code (gems were there once I got back in, though). Thanks for the fix!

All I get is a blank box when I click on the “Buy Gems” button in the Black Lion Market…any more updates?
