Guild Wars 2

You guys who are responsible for what in the gem store, shouldn’t target the sales of frequently used game features like skin changes and things of that sort but rather excess and one time stuff like bank tab expansions, skin buys and unlocks, toys or character slot expansions. Don’t get too greedy.
Save yourself and the developers that hate expressed in the forums when players lash out about said things; which becomes very apparent when reading the forums.
It’s a good thing announcements are made prior to new releases so that necessary changes can be easily made before the damage is done.

PS. Please save arenanet and all related, the PR fiasco and player anger when the chance is given. And if not, perhaps arenanet or it’s parent owners may need new gem store staff rather than lose revenue from upset customers (players) because of poor gem store decisions. This should apply to other player concerned like town clothes changes etc.
Please make necessary changes and announce them (somewhere) immediately if necessary. (Guild Wars 2 franchise staff please practice better player community relations to save everyone some trouble, thanks)

I purchase items often from the gem store. Seems like a good place to me, the only people that completely hate it are the ones that want everything the gem store offers for free. I can’t even say they want them for gold, because you can already get them for gold. So its either free items or they will complain.

kind of referring to the wardrobe feature update. i hope anet (or those responsible for things) knows whats good for them and doesn’t get more hate (and trouble) than they deserve. i have faith that designs and decisions are well made, but blaring warnings are more effective.

Oh and don’t give more reasons for players to find other games to play and spend their hard earned money on. There’s always another game around the corner waiting to give the best customer satisfaction that they can. And you don’t want that loss because those players may never come back once they’ve found their new player ‘friendly’ game. business 101.

Nothing is really changing. The cost of reskinning hasn’t changed since launch. Why complain about it now?

As re-skinning is more streamlined, now is more than anytime to complain. The game is not the same as before so the same considerations should not be either. The cost hasn’t but the game dynamics has and the skin changing game-play has.

Unless you frequently skin items below level 80 in which case your tran-sstones are now worth 1/3rd. Or you mix and match town clothing. Or you bought a number of duplicate skins (of course they haven’t announced how they are handling that yet, refund is likely I think). Or you don’t want your hard earned PvP skins showing up in PvE. Etc.

Personally I don’t have a problem with any of the changes.
