Now that the Bone Pick exists as an account bound item, would it not make player’s lives easier for purchases of items such as this to result in the item simply being available in the “Unlocked Rewards” panel of the achievement menu?

This way players with ‘alts’ could simply spawn an account bound pick for each of their characters in the same way that you spawn a Zenith Avenger?

Otherwise, I would either have to buy 8 picks, 8 axes and 8 sickles or purchase one of each and have to constantly remember to put the things back in my bank if I want to switch character – spending a few minutes taking my character from wherever it was playing back to the bank and moving the next character to the bank. Furthermore, it would eliminate any requests to customer services from players who have accidentally destroyed their items since they could simply spawn another.

Going further, could this not be applied to other items from the gem store? e.g. Town Clothes?

that’s why they made them soulbound when they first came out. they only changed them to account bound when people complained.
that said, it would be nice to buy 1 pick and use it on 8 alts. cheaper, too.

Because they can still profit off lazy people. It’s a win-win for everybody this way. People who only want 1 set can now transfer to different characters, but those who are too lazy still have the option of buying more sets, turning over a profit for NCSoft.

This little, selfish convenience for you could make a massive difference in turnover to a company relying on it’s gem store sale for profits.
