I was part of the 15% that got early release to the auction house a while back, and it was an unfortunate advantage. I got access to all the mats, and knowledge that people didn’t know about yet.

Basically I was able to make unlimited money because people didn’t know what was what yet(exotics salvage into ectos / yellows and 74ish exotics craft into 80 exotics).

I made over 100g with this method, within a day or two, I didn’t think it would come crashing to a halt.

I have yet to make over 15 gold within the next 2 weeks of playing. I already have full berserkers, and 2 peices of cultural t3 transmogged and it kind of ruined the fun for me. I don’t have to ever run dungeons, because the reward isn’t there for me.

Anyone else share similar experiences? I was basically making unlimited money because people didn’t know what to look for yet.

What you did was basically use a legal exploit to gain an unfair advantage and now that you have to deal with the reality of a fledgling economy its too unfun now. This isn’t an info thread either. I would actually suggest you consider deleting it as its makes no contribution.

start a new character, give away your gold (robin hood that illicit Lootz), delete your armor. there are many ways to right the wrong.

It’s like using cheat codes and God Mode to beat a game the FIRST time through…
You lose the desire to play it again..as it takes the fun out of it.

Yeah, nice that they only opened it up to a small % of people.

Out of 2 accounts I was not one of them, but I noticed the same people were constantly selling mats or buying up mats faster than I know they could use.

I figured these people were able to take advantage of the TP trade system, but oh well

I did make about 20 gold the first day the TP opened because I stock piled mats and kept buying them up as I noticed people selling them for cheap. As soon as I gained access tot he TP I sold everything I could before the prices dropped.
