What are these doing in the Black Lion Trading Company? Was there a direct demand for unidentified Green/Orange dyes that you can you just straight up buy for gems or something..?

I’m confused about this as well. Why just green and orange? Is this just to test the waters or something?

Also, is there a chance to get a rare dye from these? If not, I’d say the 75 gem price is a bit too high…

October, Halloween.

Though even at that price… may as well buy from the TP, cheaper and you know what you are getting.

Bought 1 of each from leftover gems…..got two blue dyes. Not worth it at all.

75 gems for one dye, when I can buy a pack of 7 for 200 gems and get a rare dye in the mix, even cheaper just to buy those dyes from the BLTC for a few copper. Not sure what Anet is smoking with this latest offer.

Not really attractive (edit: the offer), I agree. Perhaps there is more to come.

I assumed they’re special fall colors only available from these packs. I got an email too that said as much.

That doesn’t mean they are new colors. It just means they have collected the Fall hues together in an exclusive pack.

Yeah the limited part seems to be about the range of colors and the price of the dye, not necessarily about unique dyes.

So why not just tweak the existing dye pack to be a fall themed pack since it only runs thru the end of october? maybe drop the price abit aswell to say 150 that way people get more dyes and if it’s a success you have a concept to stick with for the other seasons and nobody thinks your trying to rip them off charging what you currently do for just one bottle of seasonal?

They are not exclusive dyes. They are just reused dyes that you can get on TP for 20-30c. Unless you get real lucky and get a pricy rare, it’s not worth it.
