So I have to say, I’m very impressed with the new Grenth Hood Skin.

I noticed in promotion of the hood, they’ve posted an image of an entire set that they put together. It looks quite nice. I’ve figured out what some of the other armor skins are, but I can’t place what the shoes are.

Does anyone have any idea what set this piece is from? I’d like to recreate the look.

Here’s what we’ve figured out so far:

Head: Grenth Hood Skin
Shoulders: Deathly Mantle Skin
Chest: Trickster’s Vest Skin
Hands: Masquerade Gloves
Legs: Trickster’s Leggings Skin
Feet: ???

Chest: Trickster’s
Hands: From the Masquerade set
Feet: Not sure, think I’ve seen it in one of the WvW vendors, might be a lower level skin.

Anyone have any idea what these boots are from? I’ve been through nearly every light armor set on the wiki and I still can’t find them…

Found them. They’re the Light ascended boots [&AgE+uwAA]

Now I have to find a good substitution… The Masquerade Boots skin doesn’t look too bad now that I think about it…

No it doesn’t. They just used the trickster set (a set clearly designed for mesmers) cos they want you to spend money on that as well. There are better combos, like the dry bones armor (spvp name), and they don’t cost 800 gems. Anyway the hood doesn’t really fit any armor well. Not a surprise lol they wanted to add 5 diff races into the game and that’s cool, too bad as a result we can’t have any good looking armor since it’s probably too hard for them to design one whole set for all the races. They tried ofc, and the results are here for everyone to see…the only good looking sets for charrs are the cultural ones.

Why am i greedy because i dont want to sell something i own and obtained in legitimate ways?

I am not even actively participating in the market because i dont list anything, so how can i be responsible for the prices?

The price is only dictated by the people who buy, so dont blame the sellers (or non sellers).

yep i have the same problem, i am looking for the avian lights, but greedy people like to play the TP to much to get a set

I don’t really agree with it not matching anything. I came up with this set before I even saw their post (of course now I look like the rip off) but I was also going for a grenth look and this is what I came up with, with what limited supplies I had in sPvP

What legs and color is that or should I say colors

well i’m more interested to dye the rest of the hood skin the eyes and the face mask

I was looking at this tread ‘coz I’m interested on buying the Grenth piece, and this comment was a bit of a surprised to me since I don’t check TP unless I’m buying for something specific, I have 1 deathly avian pad and 1 deathly bull’s pad, I don’t even remember how I got them since I’ve had them for so long, I was just saving them in case a I make some alts that would look cool wearing them, but after a saw this post I got curious and checked the TP and o boy is pay day, but even dough that I think the price is ridiculous, I don’t know how the economy works but hopefully it gets fix so other players that want that skin can obtain it without paying a lot for them.

So why didnt you get them 2 months ago for less than 10g?

Go check the prices again and you will find them between 200-1000k gold now and i didnt even list a thing. Granted, buy orders are still considerable less but just you wait, they will adjust soon.

I wasnt fast enough to relist all my listings and just picked up 735g from the tp, some people made a bargain.

Every skin except for 3 has shot up in price, seems like whoever was quick will make a killing once the buy orders start catching up

somebody put the bull’s skull out for 50g about 5ish hours ago…so i bought it quick for my necro

the second lowest price was 350g

That is the Arah gloves
