Guild Wars 2

Before I potentially purchase a hair or makeover kit, I need to know whether the in-game window which allows you to edit your character loads your current appearance. So, for example, if I just want to change the height and absolutely nothing else, can I do that without the game altering small facial details (which I am 100% happy with)?

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find this information anywhere and I don’t want to spend the money or gems if it means having to try and recreate parts of the character that I don’t want to mess with.

Yes you can do that with a make over kit. You do not have to change everything and it keeps your settings.

There is a little video here, 1:15 in it shows you what it looks like. Don’t know if the extra colours for hair are still available.

Yeah, I’ve looked through numerous videos but it’s hard to tell if the window defaults to the character’s current settings because they’re covered in armor so you never get to see them, like at 0:24 – 0:48 in that video.

You see your character as it currently appears, with zoom in/out buttons, lighting control, and armor on/off toggle.
