So I just want to throw out a suggestion to a-net here. I love the Halloween event, has been a lot of fun. I have been interested in getting some of the skins out of the BLC and spent quite a bit on gems to buy keys, but to no avail. My concern is it seems quite insane at the potential Money I would have to spend just to get a skin, much less the skin I want, way more then is actually reasonable. I have already spent more the. I feel was reasonable, but I like the game so I did.

However, I have become quite discouraged with this method of obtaining these items. It’s too random for the expense. Why not let us buy the skins like the costumes? With the current business model I have to say as a paying customer the system does not encourage me to spend more for gems but rather discourages me. In my opinion, in order to gain my business in the future there needs to be a less random system to acquire such items, for I think you will find that such a system will alienate your customers.

To sum it up, there are a few sides.

1) Those that gambled and lost, so they want to somehow get their investment returned since they believe that dropping $100 on merchandise should get them something (which it should).

2) Those that gambled and won, so don’t want any real changes to go through ‘cause that would squash the value of what they’ve attained.

3) Those that decided not to gamble and instead bought what they wanted, who also don’t want things to really change ‘cause it’ll drop the price of the item they bought dramatically, making it so that they basically threw away money (I’m more or less in this group).

4) Those that didn’t gamble or buy anything and want all of the skins and items to be abundant and accessible to all (this is what I wished they’d done at the beginning).

There are some mix and match outliers here and there (like those who gambled and won, but only opened one or two chests to do it, so they don’t mind everyone getting skins), but that’s the brunt of it.

So, pick a group, jump into that convo, and have fun, ’cause any argument that you could make has already been made hundreds of times.
