Can’t you put up some plain permanent tools that I can use without going nuts looking at a jack-in-the-box or other obnoxious animation? It’s fun to see the first time or two, but gets old really fast. Been waiting for a harvesting sickle and this new thresher tool has an explosion and spinning animation. Do you really think I want to look at that every single time I harvest a node? Guess I have to wait three weeks and hope the consortium sickle comes around again.

For pickaxe the bone pick has the most decent animation.

Animations are bling. Bling sells. But I will say that evil jack-in-the-box makes me hate clowns even more than I always have.

Hoping here for a chance at the Consortium Sickle too, it has the least annoying animation of the sickles. And the last two sickles offered didn’t sell to me specifically because of the animations (did get me the Dreamcleaver Axe and the Watchwork Mining Pick). I guess this is not a case of not offering tools with animations at all, but having alternatives for people not liking them.

I wouldn’t mind a cheaper version with no animations at all.

I’d support a “no frills” unlimited harvesting tool as well, even though I’m happy with my current set. More options are always nice.
