Having enough gold to buy Gems?
Yes, but not enough gems.
Buy with real money if you care about the game.
PS: gems have not appreciated in real money. Ga me gold has depreciated.

what do you mean “extra services”?
the only services the gem store sells are things like hair style change and boosters
I’m going to assume you mean skins. how many do they add per month? maybe a set of 6 armor skins and 5ish weapon skins? let’s round it to 15. and they cost maybe 500 gems each? (average). So you would need 7,500 gems per month. at the current rate, that would cost you 1050g. A lot of players get gold via farming, and get maybe 5g/hour, so it would take 210 hours to farm that much. that’s about 7 hours a day, every day.
yeah… I wouldn’t call that “possible”
If you want to maintain that type of lifestyle, you’re going to need to do some sort of TP trading. I’ve gotten as much as 200g/hour from trading in the past, but usually 50g/hour is pretty good / normal nowadays. 1050g would require 22 hours at 50g/hour. see my signature for details.

You can probably earn enough to occasionally buy from the gem store, although that depends on how heavily you play and how much of that is focused on gold farming.
I wouldn’t count on doing it constantly, though, unless you’re super hardcore about accumulating gold. There are enough players who want to convert from gold to gems that the exchange rate stays up.
I just wish gem prices being calculated to the GDP of the player’s country, based on where is that account used. I would focus on spending real cash if the prices were more friendly.

when i hear in guild how much gold people have or make than i would say no – people have not enough gold to can buy things in gemshop
and when i think about complete new players and how they need tons gems to make the account playable (bankslots, bagslots, maby 3 more characterslots to have all 8, content he missed in this storything) than i would say no – a new player need to spend money to can play this game

This is a great idea. I just set up a proxy in Kiribati, whose GDP is one hundred thousand times smaller than the GDP of the US.
So i just need to farm enough gold in game to convert it into 1 gem and can buy items worth 100k gems.

You could verify your place somehow. Like you need a history of a year logged from a country or something, so you can’t just swap & cash up.
Yep, proxy stuff harmed Steam and other stuff, but I’m sure there is a way to prevent exploiting the system.

It is possible to still play don’t feel you must part with real cash, it’s not a p2w or p2have fun scheme but for sure gem values have inflated heavily, don’t squander what money you make in the game, choose your items carefully, sales aren’t as great as they sound as demand for gems offsets the sale price reduction…
That is very true however, amongst other drawbacks a player that doesn’t get any gems will get encumbered far too often, brings me back…. While this game is far from p2w certainly there are some good benefits from gem items.
Enjoy the game!
To the OP: Yes, fairly easily. Once you’ve geared up your characters to where you want them, all additional gold is extraneous, and can easily be converted to gems, even with poor exchange rates. It’s relatively easy to make 100 – 200 gold on the TP in a week without much time commitment plus whatever you make playing the game, which is certainly enough for normal gem-store purchases.
This is obviously much harder if you don’t play the TP.
