I purchased items in the Gem-Store for a previous warrior I had but didn’t care for him so I deleted him and now those items are gone. Is there any way to get those back? I didn’t spend REAL money on them just to have them destroyed along with the character.

If you deleted your warrior without first using transmutation to make the style items account bound and store them in your bank for keeping, I’m afraid even Support won’t be able to help you. Good luck trying though.

Whenever I’ve deleted a char, I always strip it of all accessories, armor, weapons and sell/store everything from its inventory so it’s clean. That way you don’t lose anything other than your leveled character.

So you can use transmutation stones somehow to transfer soul bound weapons/armor from one character to another? What is the process for that?
Is it only for the skin or can a Legendary/Ascended weapon be transferred?

In the crafting area of LA two vendors in some lil huts that sell “white” armor & weapons.
On the toon that the item is soulbound transmute (for example) exotic sword, buy white sword from vendor.
1. Choose the skin of the exotic soulbound
2. choose the stats of the white item bought at vendor
3. choose your sigil
Now it’s accountbound, stick in bank.
Pull out on the toon you want it on, now transmute the item back onto a exotic sword.

Does this ruin Legendaries? By it’s description I cannot imagine it would work for Ascended weapons, or if it did it would be pointless.

I believe you are correct, fairly easy to get a exo or a cheap pearl exo. But a ascended or legendary no.

it works for the skins yes… and afaik you can de-transmute the item for the stats

If you put the Legendary Skin on a white item, you have lost the stats I would believe, not to mention the ability to switch stats. De-transmuting the thing would only give you the white item back and a Legendary skin which seems a huge waste.

Wetpaw’s 3-step formula is right, and yes, this would absolutely destroy your legendary/exotic/ascended… you keep the skin, but stats, etc. will be those of the stock/white item.

Besides, buy a cheap white item on the trader, for some reason it hasn’t been working doing this soulbound-to-accountbound trick with white items bought from traders in LA for me at least.

If you spend REAL money on it, why weren’t you more careful with how you treat it? Your tone is very accusing in that sentence, when the error is entirely in your hands.

As people suggest, you can try support, but the results may vary. Usually they do not compensate player errors.
