Simple question: What’s the experienced average time it takes for a legendary weapon to sell on the TP? I’ll probably be able to finish my Juggernaut by the end of this weekend and I’m planning to sell it (to buy the mats for a Mjölnir instead). Anyone have some info on this?

Probably a long time: the prices are absurd and i don’t see lots of people running around with over 1k gold. Not to mention, it’s gonna take you little fortune to put it on the trading post.

I am aware of that. And I’d lose that money if it just doesn’t sell and i have to take it back off the TP.

Update: Created the Juggernaut just now. I think I’m going to use it myself, as I don’t like risking another 100g.

In reality, there are very few of us if you take into account the entire game community.

I have about 150…took two months off since March, slowly coming back…been playing since headstart, nearly 900 hours played.

Im hoping that ANY precursor drops..that I can sell to make up at least 3/4 of the cost of the precursor that I would need. Im hoping this happens by the end of the summer or I am just done with the game completely. 1 year, more time spent in game than most people with more than one precursor drop..BS. I give the game 3 more months.

You can’t sell The Bard for 3/4 the cost of Dusk . I know, because I just bought a The Bard for 42 gold.

Planning to just sit on it and nibble away at the tier 6 mats I still need by harvesting them. My gold income is all directed at Infinite Light.

If they revamp the Minstrel and I like it, maybe I’ll actually complete the project.
If they revamp the Minstrel and I do not like it, maybe I’ll sell it for a profit as the price skyrockets.
If they do a scavenger hunt I’ll get a different precursor and perhaps dump this one on the auction hall at a loss -shrug-.

I think hoping for a drop is a bit of a long shot. I’ve been playing since launch too, and I don’t know anyone personally who has had a precursor drop. I plan to save up the gold and just buy mine. Anyway I’d be careful with allowing the ridiculous luck of a few people taint your expectations that you should have gotten one by now.

Those are the ones that have theirs (and/or their legendaries) already, I suspect.

By putting forward two logical hypotheses you can figure it out looking at the trade data:

1) A decrease in supply, met with an increase in price represents a successful sale.

2) A trader who already has the best sale price, will not unlist an item and undercut himself

So if we look on say, sunrise:

We can actually see multiple dips and rises in price, matched with corresponding dips and rises in supply; apparently there is at least a couple sold every day! – That’s quite surprising and would seem to imply that many of the legends you see people running about with were bought for gold, not crafted by the player

The same method can be applied to precursors, and precursors actually have quite a rapid turnover, with units being bought and sold every hour or two

It takes about a week or so. Well for me that’s what it was.

Yep, i tend to spend as soon as i have moneys to buy something xD

Well my sunrise is on the TP for 2 days now and is not gonna sell for now, otherwise one of my guildies put up a Bifrost on the TP which sold within 2 days.
so i cant tell you when or how fast it will sell, the only advise i can give you that the legendarys sell on the TP.

Depends on the profit margin you’re looking for. In the end, an item is worth what the leotard is willing to pay for it.
