I had a trader alt once. He was parked in Rata Sum where the distance between bank and BL Trader was closer compared to the other cities. I used him to make sure that I was making a profit by measuring how much money he had versus how much money my bank had.

I deleted him because I thought it was useless since you can just do it with any character. But eventually, those characters branched out and leveled up! I’m debating whether to use a Trader Alt again, which could also be my RP alt for fun.

Any of youse guys use a Trader Alt?

Ya, parked in Rata Sum for exactly the same reasons as yours. It’s not always the same character but I always have one parked there.

I have one parked in the Grove for precisely the same reasons As soon I decide to level him up, then I’ll make another

Besides playing everything else, I always WvW, so I can always do that there too… I really see no need for a trader alt (except more bag space).

I usualy go wvw maps as long its not reset night i can get in very easy.
there used to be bank beside the trader if ur server starts bottom right of the map
but those disappeared not sure if its bugged or as intended after the patch.

I believe that as of right now it just appears if your server has the same bay/hill keep and has the bank upgrade on.
But in the next patch, that will go away as well.

Permanent Bank Trading Access Contract means I just go on my main and do whatever I want while profiting off flips/gathering for my Mystic Forge combines.
