I Know ANet Has To Generate Revenue But...
It’s not a big deal what so ever. I feel no need to get this. If I’m going to want an item for speculation, I’m going to want more than 1k. If I don’t want it for speculation, I just sell it at 250 (so that I can deposit more).
I see nothing wrong with them offering this to players that want the extra convenience of it stacking to 1k for whatever reason.

Granted it’s more focussed on single player games, but I feel it’s still relevant to this topic…
Therefore I may take some time replying to you.
I paid for bank space, to store all the junk (And some of it I didn’t even know what it was for), all account bound rubbish, in the end I just deleted the lot of it.
They keep adding more useless junk just to fill your bank space up.
Last MMO I played only let you stack to 25. I’m kind of amazed they let us stack to 250.
If you have a single crafting profession leveled to 450 you can craft those mats into bricks, ingots, and stars. What blows my mind is how they aren’t selling bricks, ingots or stars already on TP. Even cosmetics like Sombreros, Flying Carpet mounts (similar to the Flying Brooms) or paid class changes would be an improvement. Pricing is pretty unreasonable as well. $10 for one set of cosmetic armor? $50 for mini Mr. Sparkles. Yea, no thanks.
squee obsidian shards aren’t free.
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
True, but unless you just dinged 80 they’re not horribly expensive karma-wise. It’s probably harder finding a server to guest on that actually has Temple of Balthazar open.
