I would have bought...
Selling specific dyes would be a HUGE change in their business model. Currently, they appeal to the gambling instinct of some people: people buy unidentified dyes because, hey, maaaaaaaaybe they get lucky. This appeals to a very specific type of player: the gambler. And we all know what they say about gamblers: the only one that wins from gamblers is the house.
I do not think it would be smart of them to abandon that busniess model.
But, yes, it would have been smarter to sell the keys (the item that probably sold the most) as last item.

Good point. Bad example on my part. However, I do have one more specific suggestion which is one I would be willing to pay 20 buck for. Two words – loot pet!
Bottom line is that dyes and such will certainly be on sale…. but only when people stop buying them in packs like they’re offering now. So long as they’re selling, there’s no incentive to change things – in fact they’re DISincentivised to do so, since changing may result in worse sales. Personally I wish they’d discounted USEFUL things like character slots, bank tabs, etc. – I bought $50 in gems in expectation of buying stuff, almost all I which is still in gem form, since I didn’t get anyhing but one pack of BL keys just for laughs. Definitely WONT do that next time, which is too bad because I want to support the game via USEFUL purchases…
