Infusions and TP and implications on economy
I don’t run fractals a lot, but would there really be any demand for these high infusions? Isn’t it overkill? Can you do lvl 50 fractals with a more manageable +10 infusion?
You only need 70 AR at lv 50 to make agony a tickle (1% hp a second 3 seconds).
You can get 70 ar total in the normal infusion slots, (14 slots x +5 versatile infusions) but most people want to add the MF infusion to a trinket wasting one slot and WvW infusions for the rest, so getting 3 high numbered infusions for the infused rings and back item may be in high demand once everyone catches on.
as Yumiko said:
70 AR < 70 AR + 55 stats + 11% damage to/from guards
(23 + 23 + 24 AR, then the rest wvw infusions)
it’s all about min/maxing

According to the API, someone has even created a +16 Infusion but obviously didn’t decide to sell it.
A guy is my guild was showing off his +30. So I’m not really sure what all the fuss is over one in the teens…
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Anyone can ping anything. A +30 would require 8031588g just for the thermocatalytic reagents (not factoring the 536,870,912 +1 infusions required), so let me assure you that your guild member does not actually have one.
((Shrug)) Could be. Didn’t feel the need to challenge him on it.
Honestly, I don’t think the current system is going to survive long enough for it to have that large of an impact outside of a very small percentage of players.
