With the Instant Trait Reset items being made useless, will we be able to return unused ones?

No one knows as yet. I suggest waiting to see what they say in their next few posts. But most likely there will be an option to get a refund if you paid real money for them. If you paid gold, who knows.

With the last patch removing them from BL Chests, i am pretty sure you get a refund for any gem purchases on them, no matter if you got them with gold or money.
I reported this post to get a dev answer.

I hope that refund option is still available (as a partial refund) if, say, you bought a bunch in the final sale before they were taken out of the BLTC & only got to use a few It would kinda suck otherwise, considering there was zero talk about trait resets becoming portable as a default…

Submit a support ticket to resolve your personal issue.

I find it funny that they hotfixed the item out of the chests, yet left glory boosters in until the last minute with the reasoning that they could still be used.

Assuming the same refund policy, they should refund you if you purchased them directly from the gem store (not through chests), which was discontinued back in January.

They do refund direct purchases of glory boosters.
