Having 10,000 gold in GW2 is just a high score. It’s useless. You can’t even mail 20 gold to a random person without getting flagged.

I’m sure there are loads of people up there who farm cof all the time for hours on hours. Not to mention you have people who are extremely good at flipping and can make hundreds of gold in a day.

Not really an accomplishment, but for some maybe that makes them cool in their own eyes. Best things in game can’t be bought with gold.

I don’t doubt it’s real; I know at least 1 person with over 1,000g and they missed out on the early opportunities (the precursor rush, the karka, halloween skins)
