Are there really that many people that didn’t use the wiki to see skins? I can’t think of any other reason these would jump other than the TP preview feature.

that dosnt make any sense, what kinda spear would be worth 80g? regardless of look :p

Figured this would happen as well, since it so easy now to see the look of a weapon it’s only people are now going to look for cool weapons…and despite what you may think about how you go to outside sources to view skins, the vast majority do not visit forums/games sites.

Before the patch I didn’t go looking for skins until I had my final gear for a build, but now that it’s easy to see what an item looks like, I’m willing to pay more for something that has a nice skin and the stats I want. I’m still too cheap (er thrifty) to shell out the gold for Deathwish when I like the pact staff almost as much.

That’s just what happened. My guess is that only 30% of the total playerbase used the wiki to find out weapon appearances. Now I’m beginning to wonder if that weren’t for the better.
I foresee the trend will continue as common looking weapons will begin to fall in price and increase in stock while the “cool” looking ones will constantly go up on price and demand. Bah.

Emberglow has gone from 16 gold to 36 and still rising. I wish I had bought it before.

Meh, unless the achievement gives me 600-2000 gold to make it worth buying those, I’m ok with a blank spot :P

That spear’s particular spike listing is amusing, considering the Precursor for the legendary spear is worth around 70g.
