Check to ensure that your firewall is not blocking the Black Lion Trading Company. It runs on its own separate executable. It’s called “awesonium” something or other.

Or you are just having connectivity issues. Or they are having servers issues. The TP is simply a web page being displayed in a simplified browser.

I almost never have a problem. I don’t think your problem is on Anet’s side of the connection.

Well, “Items I’ve Sold” is bugged, it doesn’t display anything the first time I try it, but it works the second time so it’s more of an inconvenience than a problem.

It often improves if you close the game client (not just log out) and open it again.
If that doesn’t fix it and you aren’t having a firewall issue, they say that deleting the “C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Temp\gw2cache—[long string]” file helps. Assuming you’re using Windows Vista/7/8, of course; other operating systems would have a different temporary file address.

I think your problem might be a bad IP connection, and the fact that you’re running a Mac. Macs aren’t made for gaming.

I think your problem might be a bad IP connection, and the fact that you’re running a Mac. Macs aren’t made for gaming.

I think it’s the network connections. Might be that some ports are firewall’ed in your Mac setup, since the in-game browser is also bundled in the Windows renderer of GW2.

I never have TP issues but when someone in my house is stressing the connection downloading/uploading something big. The slightest lag and the TP stops working, even if the in-game lag is barely noticeable.

Old and incorrect statement Is old and incorrect Macs work just fine for gaming especially spence they started to be supported by the likes of valve. in some cases I get better performance on my MacPro than on my WinTel “gaming rig” Yes the Mac has historically been neglected by game developers It is more of a reflection on said developers than on Mac OS (a standard POSIX and tested Unix Compliant Operating system) or hardware.

Ah, still living in the past millennium, I see, with the same opinions. (Never mind, who cares). And I got 30Mbit down, and 14 up…. should be sufficient.

Can’t be, since it’s working now and then.

I think the database gets overloaded from time to time. That, or the Mac version running on Wine, (I think it is) —- and that’s why Janson was asking about the operating system. Probably needs an update (Wine, I mean)

This is a Mac specific issue. I play on a Macbook Pro and on a PC. Never have the issue on my PC, but frequently do on my Macbook.

I’m having the same issue as op. Except for me it only stopped working in the past few days. Also sometimes the little circle will just go away and show me the U.I.
