Karka Shell shortage
What happened yesterday? Did we find some unknown recipe requiring shells? Did someone buy up all the supply? Prices shot up while supply took a dive. Whatever happened, it appears to be back to normal today.
I was hoping Anet banned the bots, but I guess that was a bit too optimistic.
Why is it too optimistic? Maybe you weren’t here during the mass banning wave in November.

I find it hard to believe the supply could jump like that if the bots are gone. I’ve been here since beta, and I’ve also seen the same bots running around for weeks.
Bot bannings…
I have seen quite a few bots removed from the Grawl area.

The decreasing supply and rising prices of armored scales could also indicate a bot ban wave. So far the scales are up 2 to 3 silver on average
Or people are stockpiling karka for the next wave of infused/ascension recipes.
