Okay, , I got the merch contract out of a BL chest with a free key from my PS, current buy orders on the DP give around 100g profit and putting up on a sell order will give me around 150 if someone buys it.

my biggest issue is that the listing fees are around 8 gold if i put it on a sell order and its non refundalble, and i have no idea if it will even sell or me getting undercutted, ect, so im looking for some advice.

There are a few issues that you must realize when selling something.

1. An item is usually worth more than what the minimum seller is trying to buy it for. If I am buying items that I am trying to get profit off of/ for luxury purposes, I will try to pull a fast one and buy it for a much lower price than it is really worth.

2. The demand of your item. Realistically, how many people are buying a Berma BL Merch contract? Demand on this product can’t be that high, but neither is the supply.

3. How much the item is worth to you. If you think think you can squeeze an extra 50g out of it, fine. Just realize that, as demand for the item is not that high, it will be sitting there for a while. Undercutting becomes more and more likely the longer it sits, unless you get very lucky.

Personally, I would not sell it at the 100g price, but I would not sell it at 150g either. I would probably try to sell the item at around 120g-135g. Sure, you may have lost some money, but if you get undercut really bad you would lose even more. This is just my opinion though, take it with what you think it is worth.

Undercutting the current price to 130g would result in a 110.5g gain.

This price would be basically immune from undercutting and might encourage someone to buy and relist as a 1c undercutter would net around 8g from a relist.

BL chests have really taken a beating in terms of public opinion from most areas, the thing you got from it is extremely lucky. I’d say that the best thing to do would be to offload it ASAP as a redesign or an item addition may flood supply.

As an aside, it would take me 14 years of travelling once per day to Rata Sum to make up the cost of purchasing this item. It’s essentially an item people pay for without thinking how much equivalent actions would cost them.

Convenience items are never about profitability.

The demand for an item like that is not big, but I know for sure that the supply for that is much lower.

If you do intend to list it, make sure you don’t undercut by 1C. It makes it very easy for the next person to undercut.

I suggest undercutting by 5-10g just to make the next seller think twice about posting his.
