I couldn’t locate any old threads on this. I thought I remembered reading where they changed it about a month after the game went live.

I placed an item up for sale. At the time there only two others of the same item. About an hour later someone matched my lowest price.

I checked this morning and mine is still there but theirs sold. It is too expensive of an item that someone would withdraw their listing.

I am not upset about it. I am just curious how it works.

Is it LiFo, FiFo, or random?

I’m pretty sure it’s FiFo based on my own experience.

I recently sold a stack of items at a price that already had 130 items being sold. None of mine sold until those 130 sold.

It could also be that they actually did take it down.

I was under the impression it’s a FIFO TP. Feel free to correct me.

Why are you stating that the item was sold? have you got any proof? if you do – you should report it as a bug, since it’s certainly not working as intended.

I’m pretty sure it’s a FIFO set up. If it isn’t it’s just random.

Could also have happened that both were sold and the one you saw there was already a third one.

Yes, I agree with that. It’s all too possible that the person who listed might decide to de-list because maybe:
a. He needs gold fast and doesn’t want to wait.
b. He decides he’d rather used the item himself.
c. He’s just doing it to troll you, lurking in the shadows, waiting for you to post about it on forums.
