So i would like to sell my Legendary Eternity (want to play thief as mainclass so this doesn’t fit together…). Now i don’t know for how much money i can list it up at the tp.
I think it’s better to sell twilight and sunrise separately, but i’ve equipped twilight a long time ago…

What do you guys think? How much money can i get for Eternity?

Twilight and Sunrise are around 2800-3200g atm.

What do you think about 5000g? (2500 per sword)

Or what do you think is a “safe” price? 4500g? (2250 per sword is atm very cheap).

If I had enough money to buy both Sunrise and Twilight, I wouldn’t even bother buying Eternity because it’s going to be overpriced.

It costs a whopping 29s to combine both greatswords, so no one is going to pay a premium.

Pay a premium? I think you don’t understand. I am going to sell my Eternity much cheaper than sunrise + twilight. If you want to buy those two you have to pay about 5500-6000g.

I’ll sell my Eternity for 4500-5000 or anything.

So Eternity isn’t really overpriced compared to his precursors twilight and sunrise.

5000g should be safe.

Honestly, I’d just wait and see how high the buy orders raise to and sell it to one of them once it gets high enough, I’m sure you have no issues getting money currently, since you were able to get two legendarys so far. So just be patient and see what other people are willing to pay for it.

Maybe i have to wait a long time. People can’t make any buy offers untill the first Eternity pops up on the tradingpost. I just want to know what you think about a safe price. I know there are a few ppl with deep pockets out there. There are also a lot of ppl who want to have the ultimative greatsword Eternity for sure. But how many of them are able to pay about 5000g? Not many. But yes one is enough. And like i said, i’ll do it cheaper than sunrise + twilight. If most of you think 5000g is safe i may will bring it up for 4500-4800 just to be sure someone will buy it. I hope ppl will realize i don’t care about the 500-1000g i wont get if i listen it up for maybe 4500g. I hope they don’t think “the first Eternity which is selling has to be overpriced, i don’t want to buy this one!”. (in fact of this i’m asking for some realistic prices)

Just want to hear some other thoughts about this. Don’t want to waste 250g for listing fees. By the way, if someone out there is interested in Eternity…just make some offer. Maybe i’ll bring it up for your price. But don’t start trolling or anything. For sure i wont sell it for 20g or 20000g.^^

I think it’s pretty kitten that ppl can’t bring up buy orders before someone listened the weapon…is this a bug or intended to be this way?

Its intended, so unknown items dont appear on trading post and spoil people.

In the earlier days there were many buy offers for the precursors before they came up i think. But maybe (for sure) you are right. You may got some rough guees for my price-question too? :/

I would wait with selling it until Eternity is fixed, it has no footsteps and other buggy effects.

There already is an Eternity on the TP, it just isn’t showing up on highest prices.

5000 seems like a pretty good price to me. High enough that some profit is made but low enough I think someone will buy it eventually.

On a related note I have been considering selling my dreamer since I don’t main theif and never enjoyed my ranger.

Any ideas of what A “fair” price would be based on current market values?

I am looking to either buy the pieces for or purchase out right a GS/Bifrost/or Bolt for my Guardian. (I play him almost exclusively) If anyone would be interested in trading strait up I would oblige =)

The part of this whole Legendary selling that makes me cringe is the listing fee.

Fair buy orders for something that expensive will never be up for long. It means that the money is being held by the TP, so it can’t be invested to gain more gold.

What you can try is to find someone who wants to buy it and have them put up a buy order, then you fill it. That way you won’t get scammed.

I agree with Malediktus. Eternity seems like a reasonable bet for the January or February patch, given how many people have already got Twilight or Sunrise, and the fact that it seems unfinished. It isn’t as good as it should be, so a patch MIGHT make it epic.

Alternatively the patch, or lack of patch, might make it less appealing, so that is a gamble.
