Leveling gear on TP
Yeah, A complete choice of stats only comes at every 15 levels (level 20, 35, 50, 65, and 80) when armor can be crafted. So you would need to purchase level 65 armor to get the stats that you want… level 65 crafted rares would work well until you hit level 80, if you’re prepared to pay whatever they cost. Or just get/gather the materials and have a tailor craft the armor for you.
Best bet for gear while leveling is greens from heart vendors in level appropriate zones. If you’ve done all the hearts in Fireheart Rise, for example, you should be able to find a decent set of gear for around 1k karma each (maybe less, I haven’t been there in a while).
I did maybe ~10 hearts in total, I mostly grinded event chains +h’ween labyrinth
The problem is, I don’t want to be forced to grind hearts.
I have 100% world completion on my “main” character and I have no desire to do the hearts again.
What I did was level to 70 and then do craft my way to 80, with Artificer. It only costs about 2 gold to get that from 0 to 375.
If you can’t do that, you can buy the level 65 armor and level to 80 with that.
Or just go with any armor, really, the stats on it aren’t THAT important. Most important is a good DPS weapon, preferably a rare from your level.

My advice is to buy from karma vendors or level your crafting and make only what you need. There is no incentive to sell craft results on the TP right now. That is why you have a hard time finding good gear. Personally, I salvage almost everything I craft and sell only those items that cannot be salvaged.
I went from 72 to 80 in a day and did it in lvl 65 greens. I am a casual player that got into a zerg in straights of devastation.
I would save the karma for level 80 items.
What you could do is put out buy orders that are more than 1c above the vendor price. I often do a quick check of green items on TP before vendoring the lot. If there’s a buy order at least 15% above vendor price, I’ll go for it, but usually there’s only the crap orders that would lose money if I filled them.
If you really need some crafted gear you can either craft it yourself, or find a crafter. I am sure a crafter can give you a price on the exact type of equipment you want if it is possible to make it that way.
The Crafter would just take the Cost of mats + 15% TP Fees + Profit
The Crafter may want 5% of the cost to put in on the TP up front, but this is much safer then using the mail system.
