When it comes to the karka hatchlings versus the Karka in price the only thing I could think of that people may like the karka over the hatchlings for is they find the hatchling’s noise to be very annoying. Or maybe they just like one model better than another, or perhaps it has something to do with the hatchlings looking a bit like spiders.

I can see why the mini reef drake would keep its low price even though its supply is the lowest it is very similar to the many other drake mini pets. I could see this becoming an easily manipulated market if you already had the cash laying around.

I can understand the jump in the molten firestorms price with the new fractals having been released and it is one of the new end bosses. But what caused its subsequent quick plummet in price?

What is your thoughts on other minis do you think the rare and exotic mini market will rebound after scarlet and caithe are removed from BLTC or do you think that most of the people willing to pay the old high prices for them already have them, and the possibility that some people have stocked up on these to sell later?

I think that for ArenaNET to very infrequently release purposefully limited run minis is a benefit to collectors’ long term investment portfolio. Betting on which minis, as new non account bound ones are released, will be limited, adds fun to the collecting process.

They are the latest statement of trust in the mini market. If they are reintroduced in any way, down the road, I feel that it will destroy any remaining value for minis overall.
