I wanna just ask if in the future Minipet’s will be avaible again (from Christmas, Halloween, Limited Edition etc.). I’m asking because It’s not fair if someone just bought (like 3 days ago) Guild Wars 2 and He can’t get them, like me. So simply question, There will be avaible in future or not?
Nope. Fair has nothing to do with it, that’s how holiday events work in these games. There will be new stuff next year no doubt. Anet (or any other company for that matter) simply cannot possibly accommodate people who weren’t there for it because when people buy their game is completely out of their control.
But It should be available for new players. They bought GW2 and they can’t collect all mini’s because they were limited? Everything should be available for all, I paid so I should have opportunity…
1) no one knows if they will ever re-release old mini pets from previous holidays. They may, they may not.
2) no one knows if they will change account bound mini pets to non account bound, sellable pets. They may, they may not.
All that can be done is make the suggestion in the forum to change minis from account bound to sellable or to have old minis re-released and then hope they change. At this point, minis are not truly collectible. You can’t get all the minis in the game. A number of them require dumb luck to get and all the money in the game won’t buy luck for you.
I bought the minis in a hurry because I thought they were “limited time only” and thus a bit exclusive. now they are selling some of the 1-week minipets again. I hope they wont sell them again in a loooong time or else I will feel a bit fooled :/ might sound selfish but I like to buy those limited items BECAUSE they are friggin limited and makes you stand out a little. so yeah… hopefully they wont sell them again.

Even if you did play from the start, it’s unlikely you could have gotten all. Some require large amounts of gold to buy from the trading post and some require large amounts of gold to overcome luck obstacles. It would be possible to spend hundreds of dollars in real money or a lot of gold and not get one because of the luck factor.
Of course, you could spend massive amounts of money till you got it. But repeating this feat for each of 4 mini pets on this one occasion? And then again the next time they do the same thing?
The RNG they have put in this game is not your friend, or anyone’s.
Edit: looking at the drop rate, one person bought 165 boxes, got 5 minis but no Foostivoo. So even if he used 3 of the 5 to craft it, he still needed to buy more boxes to try for the one he didn’t have.
Never say never when it comes to minipets. (Or anything else, for that matter.) In GW1, ANet eventually introduced birthday presents that offered previously unobtainable minipets that were only released as parts of promotions. I wouldn’t rule out them doing the same eventually here in GW2. Of course, the caveat is not to expect it anytime SOON.

This… it may not get re-released in the next month… year.. couple years… but as trends show with the guild wars world, they will more than likely EVENTUALLY get re-released.
