I knew that keys could drop from mobs and are very rare .. so far i found one on a Risen in cursed shore and another dropped from a Ice Imp in Frostgorge .. thats the only keys i found since launch …

But today something totally unexpected happened .. i was mining a platinum node and i looted a Key ….. soooo keys can be mined ?? i didn’t know … is this happened to someone else ?

You can farm one every 10-15 minutes or so doing story modes on new characters.

yeah i knew about the Key farming method … but i was quite surprised to find a key in a Platinum node where usually we get jewelry stones …

u can get them as loot, but its intentionally very very very very rare.
Nvr had one has loot i think.

As for key farming doing the first personal story part on new chars.
I cant be bothered, mostly since what u get from a BLC isnt that great.

I did not think keys would be in the loot tables for ore. Are you sure you hadn’t looted it prior?

100 % sure .. looted the key out of a Platinum node near the Golem event platform . Saw the key between two ore on the right side of the screen while mining . I never carry keys on me … and when i get one i use it immediately. This key was from the node ( platinum )

I haven’t tried it myself, but all the guides I’ve seen and people I’ve talked to say it takes 30-45 minutes. What’s your method for a 10 minute run? You must have found a way to skip a lot of content or something. Would be nice if you shared

Takes me 30 mintues too , but I’m sure it would be a lot quicker if I had people running with me.

It sucks. I have like 80 chests, mostly from launch when they dropped like candy. Keys shouldn’t be as kitten rare as they are. Honestly the Gem Shop isn’t really a viable option for me since I have so many chests. I have gotten a few off downed enemies, but I feel like the droprate could use a little boost. I’m not saying they need to be dropping every other enemy, but they are simply way to rare these days.

Key farm can be under 30 mins if you get the right aggro at certain spots and have at least 1 other person with you. Idk about getting it below 25 mins though. 10 isn’t possible unless there is a route that nobody else knows about.

I’ve had them drop from enemies before, albeit very rarely. I have never had one from a node and this is the first I’ve even heard of it. I think a screenshot would make more people believers though…
